Overview
Varaždin City Museum
Varaždin City Museum is deeply connected to the identity of Varaždin, a city known for its rich cultural and historical heritage. Often described as an open-air museum, Varaždin and its museum share a unique relationship—neither would exist in its current form without the other. The museum operates across three key locations: the Old Town fortress, Sermage Palace, and Herzer Palace, each representing an important chapter in the city’s story.
The museum’s new visual identity builds on this connection, with a logo that integrates architectural motifs from these three locations into a clear and unified symbol.

It is a celebration of continuity, where history and future meet, and where the museum becomes not just a repository of the past but a living and evolving part of Varaždin’s cultural landscape.

Architectural motifs become more than design flourishes—they act as flexible visual tools, anchoring event categories by location and creating stylistic consistency across all channels.
