Overview

BattleGeese

The Hoo St. Werburgh BattleGeese aims to be one of the country's leading youth baseball clubs, enabling the transition from youth baseball to adult level through links to the local club Kent Mariners. The team will also recognise its role in the community, reinvesting all proceeds into the club and the wider community, giving to local worthy causes and supporting community initiatives.

Three adult (ages 14+) baseball clubs in Kent are Tonbridge Baseball Club, Kent Mariners Baseball Team and Kent Buccaneers. While teams like Tonbridge or Mariners feature a more professional and competitive look, for BattleGeese to set itself apart from other teams the aim was to create a fun and friendly appearance, whilst keeping a competitive edge through brand expression and communication.

The logotype is designed in a nostalgic and vintage spirit, paying homage to traditional baseball identities that helped shape the culture of the sport.
